I was in the hospital room right next to Tyvan’s when I was in the unit for a skin graft surgery. I previously met the daughter of Tyvan that came home from serving the Lord in Russia. I thought that I had gotten over the grief, but the memory of the sirens and seeing Tyvan for the first time are constantly playing in my mind. Family of Tyvan (especially the daughter I previously met), please contact me if you see this.....

To Ty's entire wonderful family and the many thousands of his other friends, we extend our deepest sympathies.
Many of the very most memorable times of my life were working and playing with Tyvan and hundreds of you.
And how he loved to do both!
And his stories!
And most of all, his love and his friendship.
This world is a lesser place without Ty and certainly less interesting.
Our very souls weep our loss.
As Ty continues his eternal journey, let us remember he will pray for us to shed our grief, put together all the pieces of our hearts, savor life, love greatly and live Godly.

We remember Tyvan very well as two of his former teachers from Hooper Elementary. The world and family will miss him, sorry for your loss. He was always a good "kid".

I can't say I knew Tyvan very well, but I sure remember him.

Most business owners do not appreciate people who come on their premises and try to sell things to employees on the business's clock. With Tyvan, however, it only took about 5 minutes with him to welcome him aboard as he sold his restaurant discount coupon books (at a "special" price for us, of course). He was so upbeat and cheerful he brightened the day, and having him show up each year was like a special perk for our employees. His books were always the best available, which meant he did some real work and showed great salesmanship with the restaurant owners as well.

I can only imagine what a tragic loss his passing is for family and others who knew him well. Rest in Peace, Tyvan.

Lori & family,
My heart breaks for you! Words will never be able to heal or mend the spot in your heart, just fill it with sweet memories. My prayers are with you at this difficult time and through the coming week and year ahead of you.
