What a great person. I have lots of great memories of her in high school and track. There are some who God blesses our life with and we only can be grateful for God to give us that blessing. Thankful for all the goodness she brought into my life so long ago.

Shanna was a good friend of mine in high school. She was the girl who lit up psychology and economics class. We'd sit in class adding up points for each category in track to see how many we'd need to beat out opponents. Or run to Gary's to grab our teacher in psychology some fries and goof around.
I don't think I ever left a track practice without seeing Brower pushing your Mom and the girls so much she'd run until she puked. Always after some number for the 400.
In the summertime I worked up at Fuzy tree farm and I'd run over at lunch to visit while she basked in the sun. Sometimes she'd make the run in with me with with the Fuzy's car to Rexall drug to pick up their meds for them and sometimes when I had to ride my bike up there Shanna would ride down to Fraziers to keep me company for a bit. The hills were fun to race down. But going up them, not so much. I Know that's another way she built up such strong legs. Her and I bo had old trucks to. I'm sure your dad will remember a time someone ran off the road that he had to come pull out. Not sure she ever told him why? Needless to say we loved racing more than our bikes. Lol all part of being young and dumb.
I am very happy to have known Shanna and had some great times with her. The best thing I ever did was talk her into going out with Johnny and them eventually having Amanda. Even though it didn't work out for them it certainly produced a fine young lady.
I'm very sorry you and your brother have to go on without your mother here to support and cheer you on in the years to come. It's a sad club to be a part of. I'm Sure she'll be cheering you on somehow.
By The Way, Shanna was part of the 1982 State Championship Track team and it all came down to th last mile relay team. Shanna and I knew how it would end all along.
May she RIP

I'm shocked and saddended to hear about Shanna. We went to school together--from elementary through high school and she had recently reached out via Facebook. She seemed on top of the world and proud of her family. I'm sure your hearts must be breaking at the suddenness of her passing. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
