I met Ruth in 1965 when she stayed at my Parent's Imperial 400 Motel for several weeks while she and Larry were getting settled in Pocatello. She was a very intelligent, knowledgeable, kind woman. We had many good times together. When she finally found the home of her dreams on Los Altos Way, she was so happy! I have known Ruth for many years and we always remained good friends. May she rest in everlasting peace.

Ruth became a dear friend in the past few years, and I treasured her annual trips to Minnesota in the fall of each year. We would go for day trips to Cass Lake, Brainerd, and other places in the Twin Cities. She had a keen mind, strong faith in Jesus, and a love for Minnesota history. Ruth was the youngest of the Gustavson sisters, and the last to pass away. Her sister Luverne was special to her, and the two of them were wonderful friends of mine. Ruth will be missed greatly, but I know she is in the arms of Jesus.

My condolences to Ruth's family. I first met her through NKA's international cuisine committee several years ago. We had many enjoyable conversations over the years about music, politics, education, you name it, including several about older autos. After one in which I bemoaned having given up a big Ford LTD, she drove her "blue treasure" to our house shortly before one of her trips, so that I could relive the experience of being in one of those sleek road machines. Such a thoughtful person! Rest in peace Ruth; I'll miss you.

I was Ruth's Mail Carrier for about the last 16 years. I always enjoyed seeing her and was impressed by her independence and the many trips she took. I will miss her

I met Ruth only a couple of times but was impressed by her kindness. At the Rock Church we benefitted from her kindness and generosity on a couple of occasions. I am pleased to know that she is now with the Lord Jesus and we will see her again one day!

I cut Ruth's hair for years and enjoyed every time she came to see me. I enjoyed running into her and chatting with her in these last years. Rip you sweet lady who was a very giving person.
