I was so shocked when I saw Steve's obituary. I worked with Steve but in a different office. Steve was always thinking of solutions to assist in difficult situations that arose at the city. Steve would come in with plats and and solutions. When I was going through cancer, scared and feeling alone in my fight, Steve shared with me a very serious health that he had fought. I will miss seeing him walking his dogs near the river. My best to friends and family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Steve was such a great man. I worked with him at the City of Pocatello for a number of years. I don't think I ever left his office without hearing a charismatic/entertaining story about him , his family, or adventures in life. He was one of the nicest people I have ever worked with. He always went above and beyond to help anyone with any project or any thing. I don't know if it has changed since I left the City, but one of the last assignments Steve helped me with was designing a logo for the City's Sign Code (book). He was so awesome at this. Being artistically challenged myself, Steve went above and beyond to come up with an awesome design. I was so very grateful as I had not come up with anything printable in the 2 weeks I had been given to work on it. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope some of the fun and wonderful memories of Steve will bring you comfort. God Bless. -Jen Pizer
