I was so sorry to hear about Dean's passing. I enjoyed working with him and never experienced anything but kindness and generosity from him. I feel privileged to have known him.

It is with regret I inform the members of PARC
of the death of N7DN Dean Nielson. Dean has
been a member of our Club since he became a
ham back in the 1970's. Dean was instrumental
in organizing and installing the first PARC repeater
back in 1976. His call is still on the
Scout mountain repeater.
For many years Dean held a varity of PARC board positions,
he organized the Christmas Parties and published the PARC Newsletter,
which was printed on paper and mailed to our members every month.
Dean was my friend, an active Amateur and very active with our club.
