Carrie Wallingford (57), a Long time Certified Nursing Assistant, passed way in her home surrounded by her family in the early morning of 4/20/2016 after a a two year battle with Cancer. Carrie is survived by her Fiancé Ed Stevens; her sister Deanna Orth; her brother Mike Orth and his Wife Alona; Their children Mike Jr. and Alexander; Mike Jr’s son Jayden; her sister Jessica Norton; Her Daughter Amanda Orth- Osterhout and Her Wife Moe Osterhout; their daughter Paige; Her Son Benjamin Gomez and his girlfriend Amber Troncone; his son Kyler. She is predeceased by her parents Lois and Lonnie Orth; her brother Larry. Carrie was born in Spokane Washington to Lois and Lonnie Orth on October 6, 1958. Carrie was known for always being willing to help anyone in need. She was a caring CNA for many years. Her main focus in life was helping others. In 2011 she became a grandma to Kyler Gomez. Her passion was raising this young boy to be a successful man. She loved drinking hot chocolate with him and playing dinosaurs. In 2015 she became a second time grandma to Paige. Carrie was delighted to have a baby girl in the family and spoiled her with bows and clothes. Carrie loved reading to Paige and showing her the world. Carrie lived for her children and grandchildren. Carrie also love being outside, planting flowers or playing fetch with her sheltie Dru. Dru was her pride and joy and they had an unbreakable bond. Carrie had a love for Ed that you could see from miles away. They both enjoy riding motorcycles. In her prime you would have found her dressed in leathers and ready to ride. Carrie lived by the word “believe” and always found a way to enjoy life. While fighting cancer she never stopped believing. She would want her friends and family to know that if you believe, you will find happiness and strength. We will be holding a celebration of Life on 4/30/2016 at Raymond Park from 2:00p – 5:00p. We would like everyone to wear purple or Teal to show your support for Carrie’s fight against cancer. Carries favorite color was Purple and Teal represents the color of the type of cancer she fought. “She believed she could, so she did” -A C.S Lewis
