Vicki Lyn Keaton

Vicki passed away on December 11, 2021 at 4:30 A.M. from complications from a surgery that she had in August 2021. Vicki was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho and lived in Pocatello, Idaho. She worked at Portneuf Medical Center for 32 years working in health information medical records(HIM) before she retired in 2014. Vicki was a very caring person. She helped everyone and never thought about herself.
My mom loved her family with everything she had and then some. Her smile was contagious, everyone she was around loved her. We always made fun trips. Lagoon Amusement Park in Farming ton, Utah was the best place to go. Her favorite rides were the Tilt-A-Whirl, and the Egg Scrambler. She really loved to go to the Eastern Idaho State fair. Sadly she did not get to go this year due to the surgery she had the month prior. We would go camping a lot and would always find fun places to go, even if we were somewhere out of town, or even out of state, for example doctors appointments in Utah, we would always go to water parks, all sorts of fun places to create memories, and have lots of fun.
All of these places will hold a special place in our hearts. She will be missed so much. She is survived by her daughter (Tina Keaton), her two grandsons (Dillon Keaton, and Chad Barrett), her parents (Vern and Joyce Obrey) and many cousins.
