June 16, 1940 ~ February 9, 2024 (age 83) 83 Years Old

Sondra Cullen passed away on February 9th, surrounded by her family. She was born on Father's Day June 16, 1940 at home in Burley Idaho to Jack and Nina Henderson and little sister to Betty.
Sondra moved to Pocatello in the early 40's when Jack went to work for McHann Funeral Home.
Attending Emmerson Elementary and Irving Jr High. Sondra graduated from Pocatello High School in 1958 where she lettered in Orchestra.
Pocatello was always home for Sondra where she raised her 3 children. She worked at various jobs before retiring from JR Simplot after 23 years.
Sondra was active in multiple Masonic organizations. In her younger years she was a member of Jobs Daughters, Bethel #1 where she would later mentor as Bethel Guardian. Sondra was active in the Order of Eastern Star and held many offices on the local and state level. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile. She also enjoyed social clubs such as Jollettes and Friday night Bunco.
She enjoyed all various forms of crafts, traveling and most of all taking part in family activities which included spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sondra is survived by her 3 children John (Alyceson) Mayer of Camino Island, WA, Theresa Hunter of Pocatello, and Maggie (Tony) Shepherd of Pocatello, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Nina and the mother who raised her Marguerite and sister Betty Stearman, and a great granddaughter Thea Neary.
The family wishes to thank the caring staff and caregivers at Grace Assisted Living, Quinn Meadows Skilled Nursing and Symbii Home Healthcare.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 13th at 1 PM in the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello. Family will receive friends from 12-1 PM.
