Sheri Lee Wilde a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away June 15, 2020.
She was born July 26, 1938 in Pocatello Idaho to Edward Arbon Davis and Rosa Mae Mathews. She was the youngest of 4 daughters.
She grew up in the Arbon Valley until her Jr High years and then moved to Pocatello for the rest of Jr high and High school. She spent her summers on the farm in Arbon Valley. She graduated from Pocatello High School in 1956, during her high school years she met the love of her life Marion D Wilde. After she graduated they were married & sealed for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple on June 21, 1956.
As a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints she served faithfully in many callings, her favorites were the Primary; whether in the ward or stake positions that she held. She loved working as a Ordinance worker in the Idaho Falls Temple. She was called to serve a service mission at the Distribution Center many years ago and after that call was completed she accepted employment doing what she loved and continued to work after the change to Deseret Book for 20 years. Sheri enjoyed quilting, reading, traveling and being with family & friends. She was a member of the LaDeSa club where she enjoyed the sisterhood of many good women.
Sheri is survived by her eternal companion Marion of 64 years, sister Donna Mae Martindale of Centerville Utah, son Brian (Suzette) of Burley, Gaylene (Kevin) Saunders of Idaho Falls, Kendra Wilde of West Jordan Utah, 9 Grandchildren 11 Great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
Sheri is preceded in death by her parents, son Brent, sisters Ardella and Lois and nephew Craig Parkinson.
Graveside services will be Friday, June 19 at 11 am in the Mountain View Cemetery, Section 38 West, Pocatello. Visitation will be held Thursday 6-8 pm in the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello.
