In Loving Memory of Shane LeRoy Hall
With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Shane LeRoy Hall on October 23, 2023, in his beloved hometown of Pocatello, Idaho. Born on June 15, 1961, Shane was a cherished son, brother, father, and friend whose presence will forever be missed.
Shane was a man of exemplary character, known for his quick wit, intelligence, and compassionate nature. His warm smile and gentle demeanor brought comfort to all who crossed his path. Shane found solace and joy in the beauty of the natural world, spending cherished moments hunting and appreciating the wonders of the great outdoors. His heart overflowed with love for his family, and he took great pride in attending his children's sports games, supporting them wholeheartedly. His greatest joy came from the time spent with his beloved granddaughter, Piper, whose laughter filled his heart with immeasurable happiness.
Throughout his dedicated career with Union Pacific Railroad, Shane exemplified unwavering commitment and integrity. His strong work ethic and reliability earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Shane's memory will forever be treasured by his loving mother, Nadene (Day) Jones, his dear sister, Cindy (Hall) Lindauer, his devoted brother, Troy (Angie) Hall, his adored son, Ryan Hall, his cherished daughter, Shantay Hall, and his very special granddaughter, Piper. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judy Hall, his father, Leroy Hall, his stepfather, Pervis "Pete" Jones, and his great-grandfather, Dean Day.
A celebration of Shane's life will be held at a later date, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather and honor his memory.
As we bid farewell to Shane, let us remember him as a beacon of kindness, humor, and unwavering love.
