Obituary

Shalyn Nicole Hartman, age 41, unexpectedly passed away at her home in Pocatello, Idaho on May 30, 2021.

Shalyn was born in Pocatello, Idaho, on September 3, 1979 to Stephen Wade Hartman and Larae Hartman.
Shalyn was the youngest of four girls. She, along with her three sisters, were raised by her mother in Pocatello. Her father passed away when she was a baby, and her mother tragically passed away when she was just in Middle School. It was at this time that Shalyn moved to Montana to live with family. She graduated from high school in Montana at this time.

Shortly after graduating high school she moved back to Pocatello to be with and near her three sisters. Shalyn soon met her best friend, Aaron Beasley, and they married in 2003. Together, they had three children; Riley Ray Hartman, Mason Jay Hartman, and Sierra Larae Hartman. Shalyn loved being a wife, and a mother. Her family was her greatest treasure, and joy. Shalyn’s children were the center of her life; she was an exceptional wife, and mother. She was the light of her family’s life.

Shalyn is loved by her family, and friends. Her untimely passing has left a gaping hole in the hearts of the ones she knew and loved.

Shalyn is preceded in death by both parents, and each of her grandparents. She is survived by her husband, Aaron Beasley, and her children, Riley (23), Mason (20), and Sierra (13), all residing in Pocatello; her siblings, Lisa and Ron Ohmie (Pocatello), Lori Hartman (Universal City, Texas), and Shauna Barrett (Pocatello). She also had five nephews, and three nieces.

A memorial in her honor will be held on June 2, at 2:00 P.M., at Christ’s Church located at 1245 N. Arthur, Pocatello, ID.
