Our Sweet Sister, wife, mother, and grandmother passed away from a courageous battle of cancer on November 10th 2023. She was the daughter of Eldon Dean and Lucy Marie Waelhof Vaughn.
Ronda was born on June 8th 1959, in Pocatello Idaho. She graduated from Highland High School with the class of 1977. Ronda Married the love of her life and life long companion Mike Homer on Dec 24th 1982. They have been by each other's side for almost 42 Years.
On March 14th 1985 Ronda and Mike welcomed their son, Cody Ray Homer. Ronda Became a grandma to a little girl named Sage River Homer on September 1st, 2015 and a step grandma to Kai Murphy.
Ronda and her family loved to camp with the best campfire's and ice cold Beers. She loved to go hunting in the fall. And when everyone got back to camp she would make a great dinner. They would gather around the campfire to get warm, fill up their bellies, and enjoy the beautiful stars of the night. She loved to talk about the stories of the day and often said that the mountains were her faith.
Ronda held various jobs in her lifetime. She loved Cody's baseball games, her Family and all her many neighbors and friends she fed over the years with her good food. When family and friends had to work holidays she always had a warm meal waiting for them. Ronda had a beautiful soul but she also had her opinions on things too!
Ronda is preceded in death by her parents Eldon and Marie Vaughn. In-laws Ray and Irene Homer. Brother Gerry Lee Stith Oct 2007, Sister Jackie Stith Olson July 16 2023. Nephew Josua Dean Vaughn 1977.
Ronda is survived by her husband Mike Homer, Son Cody & Shannon Homer, Grand daughter Sage River Homer, and step grandson Kai Murphy (Pocatello ID). Sister Cindy and Mo Canfield (Pocatello ID). Dean and Deborah Vaughn (Sedalia Missouri). Ron and Sonia Vaughn (Chubbuck Idaho).
Services will be held Tuesday, November 21st at 11:30 AM in the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello.
Ronda will be cremated and laid to rest in the family plot at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Pocatello Idaho.
