Robert “Bob” Craig Walker left this world on October 5, 2021. Bob was born April 22, 1940 in Driggs Idaho to Dorothy Read Walker and Gean C. Walker. He spent his early childhood years attending elementary school in Driggs, completing high school in Idaho Falls where his parents and two sisters, Nancy and Ann relocated.
Bob started college at Utah State University in Logan, Utah, followed by adventures of living in Hawaii, Lake Tahoe and Southern California, where he met Nancy Kath. Bob and Nancy were married in 1968 in Jackson, Wyoming, and settled in Pocatello where Bob finished school at Idaho State University, with a BS in Economics. Bob was the President of Centre Glass and Paint in downtown Pocatello, and forged many friendships and business relationships over the years. Bob and Nancy raised two daughters, Angela, and Lisa in Pocatello, and eventually moved to Mesa, Arizona. They moved to Boise in 1997, and began to split their time between Phoenix, and Pocatello after retirement.
Bob loved Idaho and the outdoors. He enjoyed skiing, fly fishing, hunting, and camping. He also had a passion for classic cars, collecting many over the years. He enjoyed the game of chess, was part of the local chess club, and participated in the chess competition during the senior games. Friends, and family all remember Bob for his loyalty to those he loved. Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy Kath Walker, daughters, Angela Walker, Lisa Young, grand-daughter, Avery Young, and two sisters, Ann Walker, and Nancy Christensen.
A Memorial Service honoring Bob’s life will be held Monday, October 11 at Cornelison Funeral Home, located at 431 N. 15th Avenue, in Pocatello, Idaho. The service will begin at 11:00 AM, where the family will welcome guests one hour prior.
