Robert Ray (1942-2022) passed away recently due to heart problems and Lewey-Body Dementia. He was a dear friend, mentor, and sometimes family to those that knew him.
Despite his propensity to talk endlessly, he was also endlessly charming. He was also the first person to offer a solution when someone needed help. He was an avid supporter, member, and donator of many groups doing good in the community. PBS, AA 36 years sober, juvenile court and several other charitable causes.
His loss is not only a loss for his friends and family but all those he had touched in the Pocatello community. His gentle voice and soft heart will not be forgotten.
Rob enjoyed thrift shopping, never one to turn down the next newest treasure he would find along his way. He made friends with many through his treasure hunting and would offer help or advice to anyone who would ask.
While he had no family by blood, his many friends were his family.
The memorial service and celebration of life have been postponed due to Covid infecting family members. An update will be posted once everything is safe to proceed. For any more information please call or text 208-223-1293.
