Robert Mcintosh

John Robert McIntosh "Rob, Robbie, Robert" unexpectedly passed October 29, 2023. He was born in Pocatello to Hubert and Margaret McIntosh August 19, 1955. He went to school in Pocatello graduating from Pocatello High School in 1973. He immediately went to work as a carman with the railroad. After working for them for years he took a buyout and started working as a craftsman woodworker. He started his own business, Idaho Countertops, building laminate countertops.

He enjoyed playing pool on the Wednesday night pool league. He loved country living and watching and feeding the birds.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer. His four children, Amber, Jeremy and Heather, Sean, and Bear and Kayla and his five grandchildren. Also, his siblings Elisabeth (James) Benham, Cliff (Terry) McIntosh, Gordon (Pri) McIntosh, Catherine "Jeanne" (Vern) Rambaud, Colleen (Karl) Bohan, Denise McIntosh (Mark) and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life on November 18th at The Purpose Center from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., located at 224 N. Union Pacific Avenue, Pocatello, Idaho. Come join us in celebrating his life.
