Reva Coy Perry, 62 of Pocatello Idaho, returned to the loving arms of many who have been waiting to welcome her home on January 9th, 2021.
Reva was born to Verl Odell and Joyce Merlin Simmons on October 2nd, 1958 in Pocatello Idaho. Reva had one brother, Russell Simmons.
She got married and had two daughters, Joyce Larie and Marla Merline, they later divorced. A few years later she met and married Albert Perry and they had a daughter together, Crystal Coy. They later divorced.
Reva spent most of her life taking care of the elderly. She was a social butterfly and loved being around people. She loved to travel and had been to many states, especially if there was a casino involved because she really enjoyed pulling the arm of a slot machine, even when they switched to buttons.
Mom was a child at heart, loved amusement parks, loved trunk or treating and coloring eggs, loved playing pranks, loved and was so proud to teach each of her grandkids bad habits, hated vegetables, and was always ready and willing to go have some fun.
She loved her daughters and grandkids more than they knew or could imagine. She was also thankful for her lifetime son-in-law who could put a smile on her face no matter the situation or mood and she loved him like a son.
Reva was preceded in death by both of her parents, grandparents, and second husband.
She is survived by: one brother, Russell Simmons; three daughters, Joyce Laurie Acuna, Marla Merline Standley, and Crystal Coy Perry; ten grandkids, Nathan, Jessica, Jayson, Matthew, Caleb, Jacoby, Emma, Ayden, Jhett, and Genevieve; one great-granddaughter, Chesney; and a bonus son Jake Acuna.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.cornelisonfh.com
