Patricia Sherburne Obituary
Patricia Jane Sherburne went to be with the Lord on the morning of June 23, 2022.
Pat was born on July 4, 1940, to Anna and Emery Sherburne and grew up in Pocatello and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1958. That same year she was crowned Miss Idaho and in 1959 was 1st runner up in the Miss Universe pageant. With a life-long love of the water, she displayed her skills in synchronized swimming as part of the pageant, and her first job was a lifeguard for the Ross Park pool. Her family and many friends were proud of her many accomplishments.
In 1961 Patricia married Fred Caudill and together they raised three children: Anna Michelle (Miss’e) Caudill, Stephanie Caudill Castanedo, and Freddie Caudill. Even through adversity, she persevered inspiring faithfulness, great care, and so much love.
Pat found happiness in her beautiful flower gardens, being in church and spending time with her friends going to lunches. Her greatest joy was reserved for her five grandchildren, great grandchild, and the anticipation of one on the way.
Patricia is preceded in death by her mother and father Anna and Emery Sherburne; Her siblings, Lawrence, Margaret, Barbara, James and Steven Sherburne and her two children Anna Michelle Caudill and Freddie Caudill.
She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Caudill Castanedo, Her grandchildren, Dylan, Hannah, Sam, Ben and Luke Castanedo. Her great grandchild Liam Castanedo, and many nieces and nephews.
Patricia’s life is a beautiful love story. We will remember her precious life Friday, July 15 at 10 am. at the First Baptist Church 408 N Arthur Ave. Pocatello, Idaho 83204. Graveside burial to follow.
