Patricia Grace Obituary
Patricia Dawn Grace 63 went home to her heavenly father after a long battle with cancer on May 26th, 2022. She was surrounded by her family and friends and so much love.
Trish was born on April 17, 1959, in Pocatello, Idaho to Don and Virginia Grace. She has three sisters, Charline, Angie, and Pam. But the Grace family always believed you did not have to be blood to be family and two other sisters were added, Bette and Alison and the best brother Rodney. Trish was the baby of the siblings, and their relationship is something of true love, laughter, and pure fun.
Trish graduated high school and went to work for Smith's Grocery Store as a bookkeeper for 35 years. She lived in many various states and finally moved back to Pocatello in 1998 with her son Sterling and daughter McKenna. She then worked for the DMV for 12 years and brought many smiles to her coworkers and customers.
She first got diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2017 and went into remission in 2019. She was able to see both her children graduate college which was a huge goal for her. She was also able to watch her son get married to his lovely wife Bailey in 2020. She then got to meet her first born granddaughter Harper Rae in 2021. But she was also a dog grandma to Ruger, Koko, Indie, Oakley, and Pocus (who is a cat but does not know it).
She was a person who loved all no matter who they were or what they had done. She truly knew kindness, love, and forgiveness for all. She was heavily involved in her church from altar guild, flower lady, vestry member, worship committee, ECW, and many other committees at Trinity Episcopal Church.
On February 16th, 2022, she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She fought with her whole heart until the very end. She was someone who never gave up and had strength that many can only imagine. She is dearly loved and will be very missed.
Trish’s celebration will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church on June 18th at 2:00 pm. As per her wishes please no wearing black only bright happy colors please!!!! In lieu of flowers please donate to Trinity Episcopal Church. The service will be live streamed on YouTube and masks are optional.
