Orson Glenn Thomas II, 60, Pocatello, passed away, July 19, 2023. Orson, who went by Glenn was born to Robert and Geraldine Thomas on August, 24th 1962 in Wayndott, Michigan
He is survived by his three sisters, Judy Rosner (Rick) Katy Baumgardner, Suzy Knudsen (Chris), and his brother Tim Thomas (Cindy).
Glenn joined the Army and served for three years. After discharge, Glenn started his 33 year career as a long haul trucker. Glenn married and they later moved to Florida where they went on to have four children, Richard Thomas, Robert Thomas, Raymond Thomas, Riley Thomas.
Glenn moved back home to Idaho in 2000 to be closer to his family.
He was an avid fisherman, camper and loved the Idaho outdoors.
Glenn was adored by his many nieces and nephews and enjoyed being around his family. He was loved by his many friends and his girlfriend, Lisa. His other great love was the San Diego Chargers and he was a die hard fan. He always made sure to stay connected with his brother and sisters. Some of their favorite memories of Glenn was sitting around listening to him tell one his many jokes. The family recalls many times that Glenn made them laugh.
Glenn's ashes will be scattered in Chesterfield with his best friend and cousin who preceded him in death Steve Thomas. This was their favorite place to fish. Some will also be scattered down the Pacific Highway 101. It was Glenn's dream to travel the highway from Seattle to San Diego. His family and friends are suffering a great loss and he will be missed by many.
