Mary Frances "Sam" Callahan Obituary
Mary Frances “SAM” Callahan passed peacefully in her sleep July 11, 2021, after a lifelong illness.
Sam a very talented artist enjoyed stained glass, embroidery, beading, colored pencil and pastel drawing, and water color /oil painting.
She loved the outdoors and taking photos of wildlife flowers, animals, and birds.
Sam was determined to live her best life. She was positive and encouraging. She was always generous and very kind.
Sammy had many friends and family who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Callahan,
her parents Harry and Susan Giesbrecht, and her brother Ed Giesbrecht.
Sam is survived by her sisters Danna Farley, Katie Swenson, nephew A.J., and her brother James Giesbrecht, niece Jessica (RJ) Jackman, and nephews Crew and Keaton, as well as her step-sons Kevin Callahan, James (Shanla) Callahan, and many grandkids.
There will be a private family gathering at a later date.
