Heaven just gained an extraordinary angel. On Friday October 15, 2021, Mark Leigh Yandle, age 52, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family.

Mark was born December 10,1968 in Down Patrick, Northern Ireland to Michael James Yandle and Dawn Leighton-Price Yandle.

He grew up in Taunton, England and lived in various places in Germany, as his Dad was in the British Military.

As a teen, Mark was very athletic. He loved to play Rugby and Field Hockey and often told stories of his sports adventures.
He graduated from Castle School in Taunton, Somerset, England in 1985 and attended one year of college.
Mark was proud of his military family and he enjoyed his time with the Royal Air Force Air Cadets, a volunteer-military youth organization sponsored by the Royal Air Force.

Mark believed in hard work and was always dependable. He did various jobs throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed working on his friend's family farm and he spoke fondly of working as a porter at a hotel. He worked in the college cafeteria and also worked for Maynard's Cakes in Taunton, England. He enjoyed woodworking and helped Yalon's sister and brother-in-law build crafts for their craft business. He built his own company, Mark's Mobile Service, a mobile oil changing business. Mark has been a stay at home dad for the last 19 years.

Mark met Sarah Bowden in 1989 and they were blessed with a daughter, Hannah in 1991. In 1993 a son Stephen joined their family.

Mark was baptized in 1998 in Taunton, England. He remained an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for the remainder of his life. He served in various positions of responsibility, such as Scout Leader, Sunday School President, Second counselor in the Bishopric, Ward Mission Leader and also served as a Family History Wiki Missionary. Mark loved serving in his church callings, he was a good friend and was always there when someone needed him. He went above and beyond what was expected and was diligent in blessing the lives of other people.

Mark married Yalon Reneau on December 21, 1998 in Salt Lake City, UT. On April 15, 2000 they were sealed for time and eternity in the Idaho Falls temple. They lived in Salt Lake City before moving to Yalon's hometown of Rigby, Idaho. Mark and Yalon moved to Pocatello, Idaho in 2001 where they were later blessed with 3 sons, Alex 19, Chris 17 and Drex 16.

Mark enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening, family history, playing games of all types and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Yalon Yandle of Pocatello, four sons: Alex Yandle, Chris Yandle and Drex Yandle of Pocatello, Stephen Bowden of England, one daughter: Hannnah Bowden of England, Mother: Dawn Yandle of England, Father: Michael (Elke) Yandle of Germany, one sister: Katja (Sebastian) Bleckert, of Germany, three brothers: Paul (Claire Pillinger) Yandle of England, Christian Yandle of Germany, Dennis Yandle of Germany. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and nieces and nephews, and his faithful dog Bear.

He is preceded in death by his step-mother: Elke Yandle, Aunt: Carol Coleman, and Grandparents

Services will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 12pm in the LDS Ward, 3444 Hawthorne Rd., Pocatello. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
