Margaret Elaine Pont. January 08, 1956 - May 21, 2023.

Loving sister, aunt, and friend.

Margaret was born January 8th, 1956 to William Frank Pont, Sr and Ruth Virginia Garner Pont in Ogden, Utah. On her first day home from the hospital, her 5 siblings bet on what color her eyes were, but she didn't open her eyes until the next day.

Following the divorce of her parents, her mother moved the family first to Gooding and then to Twin Falls, Idaho. Margaret graduated from Twin Falls Senior High School and worked as a cook in care facilities and restaurants in Lava Hot Springs and then Pocatello.

She loved her many pets and doing puzzles. She found comfort in the Sacrament of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and felt a strong faith.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, step-parents, and 5 of her 7 siblings.

She is survived by her oldest brother William Frank Pont, Jr, and his family, her youngest brother Paul, and her older sister Mary, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Her family would like to extend many, many thanks to the staff and residents of Rosetta Assisted Living in Pocatello who took Margaret into their home and their hearts, as well as the Hospice program that made her final days less trying and as comfortable as possible.
