Linda Gay Papaeliou, 70 born on June 27, 1952 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Royal and Harriet Bench. Linda passed away on July 20, 2022 in Pocatello, Idaho. She is proceeded in death by her son Ronald M. Baker, Her father Royal Bench and her mother Harriet Bench Snyder. Linda grew up in Blackfoot, Idaho behind the fairgrounds. Linda was the second oldest of five children Roy, Allen, Pamela, and Ellen. Linda graduated from Blackfoot High school in 1971.
Linda Married and had two children Ronald and Tiffany Baker (Chad). Linda than worked at American Potato for many years supporting her two children as a single mother.
Linda met Frank Papaeliou in 1983 at a LDS dance. Linda and Frank married in July 5, 1985 and had two more children Sofea and Suzanne (Benjamin). Linda than became a stay at home mom. Linda loved to travel either by motorcycle or by car. She loved going to the Bar, J Wranglers.
Linda love to sew, put puzzles together and diamond art. Linda was a part of the Portneuf Valley Quilt Guild. Making quilts, bags, burp clothes and crib sheets for new baby's. Her favorite thing was going on quilting retreats.
Mom loved all of her children very deeply was very saddened by the death of her son Ronald in 1995. She was happy to do anything for any of her grandchildren or Honorary grandchildren. She loved to spend time with her three grandchildren Ronald, Kadence and Violet. She has four bonus grandchildren Gavin, Ethan, Zander, Gabriella.
Funeral services will be held Thursday July 28th at 11:30am in the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please have a tree planted in her honor. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.cornelisonfh.com
