Laura Ann Shepherd

LAURA ANN SHEPHERD, "Ann, Nannie, Aunt Nannie, Nat Nannie, Nanna Jo", 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

She was born on April 15, 1950 in Pocatello, ID to Leland and Laura Evans, the first of 4 children. Laura was raised in Arimo and McCammon, ID.

She graduated Marsh Valley High School in 1968 and married Keith Mathews in 1969. They went on to have 2 children, a son and a daughter.

She spent most of her life in Pocatello and surrounding areas, with a brief stay in California. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, long drives taking in the scenery, and spending time with family and friends.

Laura is survived by her husband Jim Shepherd; daughter, Lisa Coleman; sister, Joyce (Lynn) Barrus; and 3 grandchildren; all of Pocatello. She was preceded in death by her parents, both her brothers, and her son.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date. Laura's wishes were to be cremated, and she will be placed with her parents and son at the Marsh Center Cemetery in Arimo, ID.
