Larry Samuel Alldredge, 82, passed away on October 18, 2023, at his home in Nampa, Idaho.
Larry was born in Pocatello, Idaho on June 16, 1941; the son of Reed Isaac Alldredge and Annie Marie Bevan Alldredge.
The youngest of six children, Larry was raised in Pocatello and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1960. Through high school he worked at the Bannock Hotel. He then attended a two-year program in electrical instrumentation at ISU VoTech.
Larry started with mountain Bell in 1961 as a garage attendant. Then, in 1973, he became a foreman in the Pocatello operation, a position he held until his transfer to Buhl, Idaho as office manager. He was then transferred back to Pocatello, and then his final transfer to Boise. He worked for the phone company for 28 years, retiring at the age of 48.
Larry married Carole Campbell on March 17, 1962. They have been married 61 years. He loved old cars and woodworking.
Larry is survived by his wife, Carole, his two sons, David of South Jordan, Utah, and Jeff of Kuna, Idaho.
He has three grandchildren, Conor, Davis, and Reagan Furnley (Cody). Five great grandchildren. A sister-in-law Mary Jo Campbell of Star, Idaho. Also, many nieces and nephews that he loved very much.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother and father, his brothers, Wendell, George, and Heber Alldredge and two sisters, Colleen Phillips and Nina Stocks.
A viewing will be held at Cornelison Funeral Home, Saturday, October 28 from 12-1 with graveside services following at Mountain View Cemetery.
