Kevin Davis Obituary
Kevin J. Davis, 62, passed away February 18, 2021 in Pocatello, Idaho.
Kevin was born March 10, 1958 in Pocatello, Idaho to Wayne and Charlene B. Marshall Davis.
He grew up in Pocatello and attended school at Greenacres Elementary, Franklin Jr. High and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1976.
On February 28, 1976 he married the love of his life Kay Lynn Saxton. From this union they had two children, Nicole Lynn Davis and Lloyd Wayne Davis.
Kevin worked for the city of Pocatello’s Parks and Recreation Department, as a Sales Representative and route driver for Lion’s Candy, and many years at Wayne’s Transmission in Chubbuck, as an auto mechanic. Later he became part owner in the Rim Rock Bar and Grill and the First National Bar.
As a youth Kevin was an avid Little League baseball player, with his favorite position being short stop. As he got older, he began playing softball with his brothers. Other sports he tried and loved were golf, horseshoes, fishing, but his greatest love of all the sports was pool. He won many championships, along with placing high in the rankings around Pocatello and surrounding states.
Kevin is survived by his daughter, Nicole Lynn Davis, grandson, Kevin Carl Fisk (KC), granddaughters, Kristi Lynn Fisk, Kerri Arlee Fisk, four brothers, Craig L. Davis (Annette), Ronald S. Davis (Teresa), Bret J. Davis, and Robert B. Davis, four sisters, Debra M. Ellis (Kim), Lori A. Davis Powell, Maralee Anderson, Nanette B. Spangler (Larry), brother-in-law, David Saxton, all of Pocatello and sister-in-law Eva Dee Cornell of Blackfoot, along with many numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, son, and father, father-in-law, Elmer D. Saxton, and mother-in-law, Eva Marie Ellette Saxton.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, March 1st, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Mountain View Cemetery, Pocatello, Idaho.
