Kade Morgan Cooper passed away suddenly on Monday, January 25, 2021. He was 17 years old.
Kade was the second son born to Jared and Katie Cooper on August 28th, 2003. He joined his big brother Ian, and later Lily and Coen completed the family. Kade was a beautiful baby and grew into an amazing young man. Kade was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was an enthusiast for outdoor activities and risk taking, but loved basketball and football. He played on the Poky High basketball and football teams. He particularly had a fantastic year helping his team into the playoffs. His football coach stated, "Kade was a bad-ass football player". Kade had fantastic work ethic. He worked for Pocatello Parks and Rec and took pride in always doing his best! One of Kade's greatest joys and God-given talents was the ability to be a friend and to love everybody. He had a contagious smile and a gift for mischief. He was a lover of food; specifically spicy ramen noodles and street tacos, but mostly his mom's cooking and his dad's smoked meats. Through this experience we have seen the far-reaching influence Kade had on countless individuals. Please accept our deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love, kindness, and support. While no one can take away this pain and sorrow, the impact and influence of Kade on others will carry us through this difficult time.
Kade is survived by: his parents, Jared and Katie; his siblings, Ian, Lily, and Coen; grandparents, Craig and Cheryl Cooper, Randy and Marsha Stark, Todd and Joan Taylor, Fred and Joan Ball, Pompy Taylor (JD Taylor); and countless uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his great-grandfather, J.D. Taylor; and his uncle, Eric Cooper.
