Judith M Rodreick

Our beloved sister, adored aunt and cherished friend, Judith Mae Rodreick,” Judy” passed away on August 7th, 2022 in Pocatello, Idaho at the age of 73.

Judy was born in Glenwood Springs, Colorado on March 26, 1949 with a kind heart and a gentle listening ear. These traits undoubtedly led her to a career in counseling. Judy comfortably shared her perspectives and opinions without one feeling judged. Yet, she also innately added a spin of positive spunk to every coffee chat.
After moving to Rock Springs, WY she became an intricate part of the community, from writing “Remember When” articles for the local paper to involvement in the senior center.

Judy adored time with family and friends. She was often content to quietly sit to the side soaking up the moments, especially while surrounded by the fresh cabin air. Her unique adaptations to life’s challenges were beyond admirable, enabling her to independently tackle yet another project. As the family historian she could be counted on to supply the family with yearly customized calendars.

Judy always reveled in the unordinary beauty of the ordinary. Whether discovered while feeding squirrels or scootering out on a crisp Autumn Day or venturing on “bunny trail”, her camera lens captured an abundance of fascinations. Among her many cherished photos was a quizzical horse grinning right into the car side mirror. There are not enough words to express just how much we will miss Judy as she enriched us to be better.

Please join us to celebrate Judy’s life at one of her favorite visiting spots, the Young at Heart Senior Center, 2400 Regan Ave, Rock Springs, WY on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 10 am.
