J. Colleen Miller Obituary

J. Colleen Miller left this world peacefully on February 3, 2021 in Longmont, Colorado at the age of 81, surrounded by her family. She was born March 17, 1939 in Pocatello, Idaho, the third of five children born to Madge Lillie Regan and Earl Byron Campbell.
She graduated Pocatello High School and married Donald Lee Miller, also of Pocatello, in 1957 then moved to the South Bay Area of California where she lived most of her adult life. Her faith was at the forefront of her life as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served in many teaching and administrative callings. Her professional life was clerical with two of her favorite positions being secretary to President Stratford at the Los Angeles LDS Temple, and Executive Secretary at TRW/Northrop Grumman. She was an avid reader with an extensive personal library, enjoyed music and the performing arts, needlework, sewing, crafting, road trips, and time with family.
After retirement she made her home in Longmont, Colorado to be close to family there. She was known throughout her life by her middle name, Colleen, and being born on St. Patrick’s day, loving all things Irish, and always choosing various shades of green in her surroundings.
She is survived by four daughters, Johnna E. Bailey (Mark), Donnette Miller, Lauren L. Miller, Lisa M. Miller, 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, one sister, Carole Alldredge (Larry), Mary Jo Campbell, wife of deceased brother, Richard Campbell, and several nieces and nephews.
