Illa Christensen Obituary
Illa Jeneal Rowley Christensen, 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2020. She was born on September 15, 1935 to Thomas and Illa John Rowley in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Jeneal married Robert G. Hopkins on June 29, 1951 in Blackfoot, Idaho. They were later divorced. She married Hal E. Brooks on January 4, 1961. They were later divorced. She married Francis Shane Clark on March 28, 1963. They were later divorced. She married Evan LeGrande Christensen on November 1, 1975.
She was a loving mother and a hard worker taking care of her 6 children. Her family was very important to her. She loved being together with all of them. It was hard to get together as her family was spread through several states. For years she helped make sure that there was a family reunion each summer so that there was family time.
Jeneal is survived by her sons, Robert (Bob) T. (Kathy) Hopkins, Ogden, Utah; Michael W. (Sue) Hopkins, Longview, Washington; Randy K. (Janet) Hopkins, Pocatello, Idaho; Gregg L. (Laurie) Hopkins, Blackfoot, Idaho; Cindy L. Christiansen, Pocatello, Idaho; Lisa Morrell, Ogden, Utah. 20 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Thomas Kay, and sister Idonna.
There will be a Memorial service for Jeneal at a later date.
