Gordon Scott Bernier “Scottie" was born on June 27, 1959 in Inkom, Idaho. He was the oldest of four children born to Gordon and Iris Bernier. He died in his parents’ home surrounded by the people that love him the most.
Scott was raised and resided in Inkom, Idaho his whole life. He graduated from Marsh Valley High School in 1977. During this time, he worked at Solomons Service. Working on old cars and motorcycles was a passion of his. He also enjoyed riding dirt bikes and skiing.
In 1982 he married his high school sweetheart Nancy Hanges. With this marriage came his two daughters. Mckenzie Lee Bernier and Kymberly Ann Bernier. Years later he met Fawn Bullock, they spent the next eight years together. Fawn and her daughters, April Cummins and Brandy Bullock were a great part of his and his daughter’s lives.
He worked for the Forest Service for a short time. He then continued his love of fixing cars at his first mechanical job at Phillips Industries, in Inkom, Idaho. With that being his steppingstone, he started at Supreme Muffler and Brake. Where his career and love for cars excelled. A lot of people came to know Scott through his years at Supreme Muffler and Brake. As he will always be remembered as an honest mechanic. He wasn’t going to fix it, if it wasn’t broken!
