Gary Joseph was born on Sunday, November 27, 1994 to Steven and Rebecca Potter, in Pocatello, Idaho. He was the youngest of three children. He lived most of his life in Pocatello traveling often for work and for play. He graduated from Pocatello High School in 2013, where he excelled in Art and was an extremely creative soul. Gary worked as a structural welder, some major jobs that he worked on include the Melaleuca building in Idaho Falls, ID and a Gold Mine in Cripple Creek CO.
Gary enjoyed the great outdoors and was fascinated by the stars and Universe, which sparked his interest in Astrology. Always trying to discover the meaning of this world and his place in its vastness.
One of his greatest passions was music. He loved to create his own sound, as well as travel to music festivals.
Gary was always happiest when surrounded by his friends. He had a way to be able to light up a room as soon as he walked in. He had a warm and compassionate soul and cared deeply for those around him.
We will miss him very much and the world is a little darker as his star has fallen from the sky.
Gary is survived by his parents, Steven and Rebecca, brother, Billy (Casper, WY), sister, Jessica.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Rodney Gary Potter (Mt. Vernon, OR).
A private gathering will take place at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.cornelisonfh.com
