Gary Neil Hoff, 79, of Pocatello Idaho, and more recently of Blackfoot Idaho, passed away March 14th 2023 at Portneuf Medical Center.
He was born on August 29, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Paul Ralph Hoff and Pearl Dean Muller. Gary graduated from Pocatello high School in 1961. He is survived by his daughter Janille Hoff; two granddaughters Courtney Hoff and Tiffany Ehrlich, and two great-grandchildren Mali and Ace Ehrlich. He is predeceased by his dear wife Shirley, his parents, and his sister Karen Kay Hoff.
Gary was a pharmacist and owned his pharmacy in Citrus Heights California. He is most known for building one of the first pharmacy computers in his basement. He later established Mavis computers and started the trend for all pharmacies to switch to computers for their label printing and information storage. He was also one of the group of students who raised money to pay for the ISU mini dome, now known as Holt Arena.
