Our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Brenda Lee Walker, 66, of Pocatello, passed away peacefully in her loving home April 18, 2024. Brenda was born on September 21, 1957, in Huntington Park California to Leota Jean Pacheco and Donald Edward Smith. She graduated from Idaho State University with a degree in nursing.
Brenda had a love for life and people. Above all else, she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Family barbeques were a favorite, and she never missed a family celebration, which were often arranged by her. She developed many lifelong friendships and stayed close with extended family members. Spring time was her favorite time of year and she looked forward to planting flowers and spending time outdoors. She had a deep love for animals and enjoyed watching the neighborhood birds and squirrels. She had many talents including drawing, acrylic painting, and later in life found a passion for fluid art and resining. She loved to share her art with her family, who will always treasure her gifts. She could easily connect with people, sharing her wonderful sense of humor with everyone. Her caring, generous, and thoughtful spirit will always be remembered by those she loved most. She will forever be loved and missed deeply.
