Arden Whitworth Obituary

Arden F Whitworth, 85, passed away peacefully at Portneuf Medical Hospital on December 25, 2020.
Arden was welcomed into the world April 15, 1935 to Kathryn and Francis Whitworth in Inkom, Idaho. He grew up in Chesterfield, Idaho where he became the cowboy we all knew and loved. He spent most of his younger years herding cattle, training horses, and working in the fields of Bancroft and Chesterfield.
He then moved to Pocatello to work at FMC. He met his first wife, Veeve Wheeler, and they had four children: Terry, Greg, Derice, and Todd. He later divorced.
He married his second wife, Norma Jean, in 1981. They continued their life together in Inkom raising her two boys, Merlin and Mark, along with his four children. He then retired at FMC.
Arden loved to help anyone out that needed assistance. He was a very caring and generous cowboy. He enjoyed making crafts that involved horseshoes, wood, and metal. He was adept at creating something beautiful out of anything. He also loved working on the bulldozer. He cherished the moments he had with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Arden will be deeply be missed by his wife Norma Jean Whitworth, Pocatello; son Todd Whitworth, Pocatello; son Merlin (Regina) Tiede, Germany; son Mark Tiede, Pocatello; his siblings, Albert (Karen) Whitworth, Inkom; Iris Bernier, Inkom; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Arden will be reunited with his mother, father, brother Marven Whitworth, sister Darla Tolman, younger brother Steven Whitworth, two sons Terry and Greg Whitworth, and daughter Derice Wooten, along with aunts, uncles, and friends.
His memorial service will be postponed due to Covid-19 until further notice. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
