Shirley Larson Obituary

Shirley Marlene Larson, 87, Pocatello, passed away, July 17, 2018.
Shirley was born on June 4th, 1931 in St. Anthony, Idaho where she grew up. In 1948 she married Rex Larson in the Idaho Falls Temple. In 1951 Rex and Shirley moved to Pocatello, Idaho. They raised three daughters in Pocatello: Ardana (Steve) Long, Lynn (Dan) Desfosses, and Jolene (Kirk) Hartman. Shirley and Rex ran and owned a Subaru car dealership, jet boat dealership, snowmobile dealership, and a Sinclair service station in Pocatello. Shirley was the book keeper and secretary for these businesses. She worked for 10 years as the receptionist at Pocatello Physical Therapy Clinic owned by her son-in-law, Dan Desfosses.
Shirley was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served callings in the ward Primary and Sunday School besides a stake calling as Secretary of the Sunday School.
She has 13 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 28th, 2018 at 2 pm in the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.cornelisonfh.com
