Raymond Jim Lowe, 64, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at a local medical center. He was the son of Arthur Foy and Edna Lowe. Ray was born on April, 19, 1954 in Nyssa, Oregon. He moved to Pocatello, Idaho in his teens and graduated from Pocatello High School, then went on to serve in the United States Air Force. Upon returning to Pocatello he was employed by Simplot’s for 40 years and retired in May 2017.
On June 15, 1973 he married Micalene Atkinson. They were together for 40 years until her death in 2013. They had two children: Virginia (Jenny) Jordan and Charles (Charlie) Lowe. Ray was blessed to find love again with Lola Moon and they married on February 14, 2018. He was a man who cared greatly for his family, and his three grandchildren were the apple of his eye. His family always enjoyed his humor, sweetness, and he was always there to help everyone who knew him. Ray was also a fabulous cook with a Dutch oven.
Ray is survived by his spouse Lola, daughter Jenny (Gerald) Jordan, son Charlie Lowe, grandchildren April Bird, Quinton Jordan, and Kayla Jordan. He is also survived by his brothers Howard Lowe and David (Christy) Lowe, sister Surrine Lowe, all of Pocatello, and sister Devina (Audie) Shields, Nashville, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello.
