Paul Anthony Tafoya, 71, Pocatello, passed away, December 1, 2018. He was born June 13, 1947 to Patrick Albert and Beverly Martinson Tafoya. He married Norma Lowry and they were later divorced. He later married Linda Shonwald and was later divorced.
Paul was a construction painter and enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He always had a joke. Paul was an amazingly talented man and had a vast array of abilities. He was immensely loved by his family and will be missed very much. He was a genuinely funny guy and it was pleasure to spend time with him.
He is survived by 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his mother, Beverly Harrington of Pocatello; 3 brothers, Patrick Jay of Randolph Center, Vermont, Raymond of Tucson, Arizona, and Edward (Henry) of Denver, Colorado; 5 sisters, Linda Korenke of Idaho Falls, Sallee DeLange of Hagerman, Idaho, Barbara Tafoya of Pocatello, Gloria Denney of Pocatello, and Theresa Wilson of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; a daughter, Machelle Nice-Larson of Twin Falls, Idaho
He was preceded in death by his father; 2 daughters, Paula Bridgette Tuschoff and Angela Tafoya; a brother, Gibert John; a sister, Michaela Myers; paternal grandparents, John B. and Jesusita Garcia Tafoya; and maternal grandparents, Charles Martinson and Harriet Pack.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 2 pm in the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, where family will receive friends one hour prior.
