Please accept my sincere condolences for your recent loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. I have always received comfort from the Bibles’ word at Philippians 4:7 which reads “and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus”.

Want to extend my deepest sympathies to the family.
Nelda did so much for everyone at Gate City I was often amazed at her ability to remember so many things. She was awesome to work with.
She will be missed by many.

Nelda was the most wonderful secretary at Gate City Elementary for many years. She could do anything on the computer and could and did fix everything in the building. Nelda and David even sanded and painted over the bright orange cabinets in the faculty room there to a nice calm shade of almond as a Christmas present to the staff one year.
I hope she enjoyed her retirement. She is a lovely lady who loved her family so much. She adored her grandchildren! She will be greatly missed. All of us at Gate City Elementary have wonderful memories of her.

So sorry to hear of Nelda’s passing. She was a vital part of Gate City Elementary and helped my kids many times over the years. We loved her dearly.
