Marsha Tripp, 61, Pocatello, passed away, September 20, 2017.
Marsha Tripp was born May 16, 1956 to Von Harold and Fay Nielson Tripp. She died September 20, 2017 at her home in Pocatello from a short and intense battle from ovarian cancer surrounded by her family.
Marsha grew up in the Thomas Idaho area and attended school in the Snake River school district. She graduated in 1975 from Snake River High School.
Marsha went to live at her home in Pocatello in July 1992 after having spent the in between years living and traveling with her mom and dad, and just enjoying family.
In 1992 Marsha found her place in the world at Independence Home in Pocatello. She started work for New Day products and started to build her life. While at work and home she was still very much involved with family and the LDS church. She kept busy, productive and for anybody who knew her, happy.
She is survived by her sister LaVon (Dee) Simper of Nehalem, Oregon. Her brother Evan (Ranae) Tripp of Mackay, Idaho. Four nephews John (April) and Don (Michelle) Simper, Jim (Jessica) and Brody (Cindy) Tripp. One niece Brianna (Zach) Bowhay and all those great nieces and nephews that she loved along with an uncle, two aunts, and cousins. She is also survived by her extended compassionate and loving family at the Independence Home, "staff and residents".
Marsha was preceded in death her parents, Von and Fay, one brother Jimmy, and her grandparents.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to ARC of Bannock County, (Independence Home at 430 Willard in Pocatello) or the American Cancer society.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 1pm in the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, where family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will be in the Arimo Cemetery, Arimo, Idaho. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.cornelisonfh.com
