Marcene Barsalou

Marcene Barsalou, age 64, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2017 surrounded by family. She was born March 23, 1953, in Pocatello, to Lyle and Betty Armstrong. She graduated in 1971 from Highland High School. She had her only son (James) at the age of 21. She worked as a Merchandising Sales Rep, where she traveled and made new friends at every location. She married Bruce Barsalou on April 12, 2002, when the happiest chapter of her life began. She received her greatest gift when she became a grandma for the first time on February 14, 2014 and was blessed with her second grandchild on January 8, 2016. Her happiest moments were spending time with friends and family. She is survived by her husband, Bruce; her mother, Betty Armstrong; a brother, Kevin (Lisa) Armstrong; 2 sisters, Diane Armstrong and Jill Ragland; her son James (Jolie) Lambert; grandchildren Hayden and Harper; 12 nieces and nephews and 18 great nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Marcene’s life at the Elks Lodge (410 S. Main St, Pocatello) from 1-3pm on Sunday, December 17, 2017. A short service will begin at 1:30pm.
