LaRetta "Kitty" Henson, 82, Chubbuck, passed away, December 5, 2017.
After a courageous battle with cancer, Father in Heaven took our mother's hand and showed her the way home.
To those who knew and loved her, she was Kitty, the name our dad gave her. To Susan and I, she was mom. To JeNeal, Brian, Travis, and Steven, she was Grandma. She was born LaRetta May Draper, December 29th, 1934. She was the oldest of 3 children. She adored her brothers, LaRoy and Virgil.
She married the love of her life, Robert Neal Henson, March 11, 1951. Together they had 3 children, Robert Neal Jr., Cathy, and Susan.
In 52 years, mom and dad never spent one night apart. When he was called home and she had to stay behind, she vowed "Till death do us part" was not going to be the end. She worked very hard to be 'worthy' to be with him again someday. On June 12, 2003, her wish came true and they were married for all time and eternity in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple, where she had served a mission.
Tonight, as I write this, I imagine her smile when she first saw him again. In my dreams, they are hand in hand, a sweet little boy giggles as he rides on his daddy's shoulders, the same way we did when we were little girls.

Memorial services will be held at 11am Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the LDS Church, 450 James Ave. Chubbuck, Idaho.
