Dorthy and I became friends at Franklin Jr. High School. Our friendship continued through high school and college. We both married and left Pocatello for several years but reunited, after awhile, through email. Then, we both moved back to Pocatello and saw each other from time to time. I absolutely cherished Dorthy's friendship. She was a role model for all with her grace, Christlike manner and spirit, and overall kindness and love for everyone. She always called me her best friend, but I know that everyone who knew her was her "best friend." She leaves a lovely legacy in both Pocatello and Los Angeles. I am very sad that she has left us now and I shall miss her shining sweetness at various events around town. Dorthy was a blessing in my life. Carol Bowser Mahar

My sincere condolences to the family and friends, so sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in knowing that Jehovah God will soon resurrect our dear loved ones (John 5:28-29). Oh how we long for that time when pain, suffering and death will be no more, these former things will have passed away (Revelation 21:3-5).

My deepest sympathy to the family of Dorthy. She was indeed a beautiful lady and Pocatello
was indeed very proud of her when she became
Miss Idaho USA and advanced as a finalist in the pageant, for Miss USA. God Bless you one and all. Sincerely, Dixie Hunt Robinson
