Welcome to the memorial page for

Diana Lynn Rauh

February 8, 1953 ~ October 18, 2017 (age 64) 64 Years Old
Diana Lynn Rauh was born on February 8, 1953 to Virginia Eleanor Ellis Rauh and LaVern D. Rauh in Pocatello, Idaho. Lovingly referred to as “skinny Minnie” by her Uncle Frank, she always had a smile and a compliment for you, regardless of what her struggles were that day. She will be missed by all.
Diana graduated from Pocatello High School in 1971. She enjoyed the socialness of school. She tried to be friends with everyone and all were usually very kind to her. She loved Tab soda and the color purple. She proudly lived in Christensen Court in an apartment, close to her mom, and functioned very well on her own. Friends, family and neighbors were kind enough to keep an eye out for her, especially after her mother’s death in 2001. When her health, mostly physical, started to fail her she had to move into a private home. She very much enjoyed living with the two different homes she was in. When she became physically unable to take care of herself, she had to transfer to a residential care facility. She thoroughly enjoyed the new company she had with everyone at Safe Haven, and was there until her death.
The family wishes to thank the many wonderful nurses and aids at Safe Haven. Our sincere appreciation goes out to them for giving Diana the best care and highest quality of life that she could have. You are all wonderful, thank you.
She is survived by two siblings, brother Fred (Susan) Rauh and sister Karen (Gary) Richardson both of Pocatello; two nephews Marc (Jennifer) Richardson of American Falls and Mike (Lisbette) Richardson of Coeur d’Alene; three nieces, Chelsie Rauh, Ashlie Rauh and Whitnie Rauh all of Pocatello, seven grand nieces and nephews; and two great-grand nieces. Diana is also survived by one very close friend, Darla Gill of Idaho Falls. Darla has been her best friend for many years and we all thank her for her close friendship with Diana.
She is preceded in death by both parents, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
All friends and family are invited to the memorial service at the Central Christian Church, 918 E Center on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 11:00am. Interment will be at the Mountain View Cemetery immediately following the service.
