Bobby Howard Larson passed away in the early morning hours of August
28, 2017 at the age of 88.
He was born August 19, 1929 to Howard Herbert Larson and Ruthemma
Fewens in Pocatello, Idaho. He met the most wonderful lady in the
world, Veda Mae Edginton, at the original Deleta Skating Rink. They
married on June 3, 1950 and spent 60 years together.
Bob had many interests from building boats, boating, riding
motorcycles, camping, golfing, to anything to do with airplanes. He
retired from the National Guard as a master sergeant in 1985 after
serving since 1947. Upon retiring, he and his wife spent many winters
in Arizona, enjoying warm weather and new and old friends.
He is survived by daughters, Cindy (Bob) Nestor and Bobette (Robert)
Nicholls. Granddaughters, Jennifer (Ken) Horton, Danielle Pierce
(Shawn Johnston). Grandsons, Walter Lively (Catherine) and Bo Nestor
(Amber). Great grandchildren, Zach, Nate, Kaden, Adalyn, Canyon,
Abby, Madison, and Shawnee. Great-great grandson, Winston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Veda Mae, a daughter Lori Larson
Pierce, and brother Jack Larson.
The family would like to thank Access Hospice and Danielle Pierce
(granddaughter) for the care he received in the month prior to his
passing.
His great grandson, Nate, called him "Great" and great he was and
always will be.
Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, August 31, at 3 pm in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Pocatello, with military rites, where family will receive friends 30 minutes prior.
