Vance Skabelund

Vance Skabelund, 74, Pocatello, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at his home. Vance was born on May 17, 1940 to Rex and Norma Skabelund in Logan, Utah.   He was a diesel mechanic at Western States Equipment for 36 years, retiring in 2002.  Vance enjoyed working with his hands on many projects in his home workshop, rebuilding small engines and loved fishing.  He had many friends and enjoyed visiting with them.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, two brothers, Lee and Paul, two children, Kyle and Tiffany.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristi.  He is also survived by two grandchildren, Torey and Heather, three great grandchildren, Brighton, Jurni and Graci.  
Vance loved his family very much and we all loved him and will miss him immensely.  He will always be with us and in our hearts.
