Theda A. Myers

Theda A. Myers, 98, Pocatello, passed away May 24, 2016 at a local care center. She was born December 12, 1917 in Pocatello to Jacob and Alice Sturman Elsen. She was raised in Pocatello, California, Wyoming and Michigan. Theda married Charles Ward Myers on November 3, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1993. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed Christian Women's Group and Dorcas Circle. She worked at Block's clothing store for almost 20 years. Theda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to lunch and dinner, and celebrating birthdays and holidays. She is survived by her children, Kenneth N. (ArJean) Myers and Charles Richard (Joyce) Myers; grandchildren, Allen (Janet), Michelle (Barbara), Michael (Shawna), Kenneth Jr. (Melissa), and Benjamin Myers; great grandchildren, Elisa, Krista, Morgan, Gabrielle, Tanner, and Jillian Myers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 3 pm in the Grace Lutheran Church, 1350 Baldy Ave., Pocatello. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday in the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, 232-0542, and one hour prior to services in the church Saturday.
