Ted Tilley

Ted Tilley was born on August 15, 1962 and on December 13, 2014, the Lord took him home.
 He grew up on cattle ranches in Wyoming and Montana.  A cowboy all his life, he competed professionally in bareback and bull riding.  He later drove truck and worked cattle yards, but his heart was on the range with his horses, dogs, and the cattle.  He rode for many ranches across the country.  He took great pride in training good dogs and good horses.  Most recently he was cowboying in the Arco area when on his 51st birthday he was diagnosed with Leukemia.  True to his stubborn cowboy nature, he was determined to not let the disease beat him.  However, after months of treatment, he succumbed to complications from a recent surgery.  Ted was an inspiration to his friends and church family at Pocatello Cowboy Church and will be greatly missed.
  His friends would like to thank the staff at the Portneuf Cancer Center and the 4th floor nurses at Portneuf Medical Center for the care and kindness you have shown.
 A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 20, at 3:00 PM at the Pocatello Cowboy Church indoor arena on N Laughran Rd.  (2nd driveway N. of Tyhee Rd) with a potluck dinner following.
