Sandra "Sandy" Braun, 61, Lava Hot Springs, passed away suddenly at home, June 3, 2017.
She was born March 12, 1956 to Dawson and Evelyn Wilks in Salmon, Idaho. She married Doug Braun in 1990 at Lava Hot Springs.
She owned operated dog boarding kennels and grooming business, "Brauns Bed and Biscuits." She had previously worked as a cashier at the grocery store in Lava and as a cook in a local restaurant.
She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, Facebook, yard work (loved her roses), pottery, painting and crafting.
Sandy was loving grandmother and mother to Charity and Carrie.
She is survived by her husband, Doug of Lava Hot Springs; 2 daughters, Carrie (Jason) Martinez-King and Charity (Robert DeWall) Potter; 7 grandchildren, Jayce and Tristen "TJ" Potter of Pocatello, Makenna Baker of Pocatello, Chanae Potter of Colorado, Anthony Lopez of Colorado, and Sean and Izzy King of California; 2 great grandchildren, Marley VanWormer and Landon Rodriguez of Colorado; a brother, Boyd Wilks, Winnemucca, Nevada.
Preceded in death by her parents; 3 brother, Michael, Larry, and Brent
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 7, at 2 pm in the Greystone Manor,187 2nd Ave W, Lava Hot Springs, where family will receive friends one hour prior.
