Roman S. Ellis

Roman S. Ellis, 20, was born in Pocatello, Idaho on December 20, 1994 and left his earthly life on November 19, 2015. His parents were Aimee Sue (Chugg) and James Bryan Ellis. Roman was a special spirit, kind and loving to everyone with whom he came in contact. He had a beautiful smile and was generous with his time helping others. Pocatello was his home in his early years, but he and his Mom started a new life in Clearfield, Utah. He attended Clearfield schools and graduated from Clearfield High School in 2013. He had many friends, and lettered in wrestling while at Clearfield High School. Roman was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and was advanced to the office of a Priest. On December 16, 2012, he was honored by a Court of Honor when he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Roman loved hunting and fishing, and while his younger years, he went on many Harley trips with his Poppa Chugg. After graduating from high school, Roman returned to live in Pocatello, and met the love of his life, his fiancé Alexis Rose Cornelius. They had a beautiful daughter on September 29, 2014, Quinleigh Abella Ellis. Roman was employed by On Semi-Conductor. Roman is survived by many relatives, including; Mother, Aimee Cutler; Father James Bryan Ellis (Samantha); Grand parents, David and Suzanne Chugg, Jim and Conchita Eillis; Aunts and Uncles, Megan and Fred Chilson, Monquie Ellis, Sean, Kevin Ellis, and Jacque Shoemaker; Siblings, Selina, Seth, Joshua, and Emma Olsen, Catarina, Marcus, James Ellis, and Kylie Smith. Roman was a loved by members of Alexis' family; her Mom and Step-Dad Rose and Jason Payne; her Father Jason Cornelius; her Siblings, Stetson Stanger, Mason Cornelius, Cheyenne, and Abigail Payne; Grandparents, David and Suzanne Munn; Aunts and Uncles Holly and Kelly Gregson, Amy Goodman; and Cousins, Cole Gregson and Paul Goodman. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an account set up in Roman’s name at the Rails West Federal Credit Union, this would be appreciated to help defray funeral expenses. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 2 pm in the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello. Visitation will be held Monday 6-8 pm and one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Pocatello.
